Cyclops has submitted a wonderfully gunga-inspired report of his foray into the world of Occupational Health & Safety. OH&S was certainly compromised as he inflicted blow after blow of blistering bebop, frenetic funk and salubrious salsa on an audience of unsuspecting white collar/blue collar workers and some really hot office babes.
Accompanied by the Gigdiary, Cyclops ignored all semblance of decency and proceeded to perform his Greenwich Garage repertoire. “A Night In Tunisia” and “Green Dolphin Street” took precedence over the usual cocktail favourites. The Gigdiary relinqished his hold on the chardy bottle long enough to play both Chuck Berry solos he learnt in high school, to the amazement of no-one. Cyclops fortunately conducted all liason with bods in authority, especially those bods who have the authority to move tables and plug power leads into the floor.
On the other hand, Gigdiary continued to hunt and peck, gathering victuals for the battle. Brewskis for the saxophonically-challenged one, and chardonnay and smoked salmon for his deranged self. Cyclops then undertook all the pedestrian chores of the raid. Setting up PA, soundchecking, plugging Gig’s mike in, whilst Gig continued to walk around in circles mouthing expletives about all and sundry.
At the demise of the foray, Cyclops and Gig made off with a cornucopia of spoils including “4 cases of grapes-of-wrath vino, and 2 hot-pants power-tool exhibition bimbos”. The evening progressed rapidly downhill from there. The next thing Gigdiary remembers is waking up on Macleay Street next morning with a 50c coin pressed into his palm.
Those Power Tool Girls
As reported by Cyclops, this most excellent phenomenon is alive and well, and appearing at Trade Shows everywhere. Clad in hot pants and armed with chain saws or other implements, these babes cavort around industrial arenas giving joy, enlightenment and bastard prick-teasing to hundreds of labouring bods. Cyclops and the Gig managed to snare 2 such powertool girls on the night.
Cyclops’ was especially hot.
Gigdiary didn’t fare so well…
